Our classic Helaumbu trek begins in the Helambu region by following an easy level of trek. Later on, we move ahead from Sundarijal and ascend towards Chisopani, followed by other village areas, while descend to reach Melamchipul Bazaar. After this, we ascend towards Kakani and again follow a reverse trek to reach Melamchi village. Our complete Helambu trek involves moving ahead from Chisapani at east of Kathmandu to reach to up to 3,500 meters. Even we create a loop via Helambu region towards northeastern region of Kathmandu. Here, you will find villages with mixed ethnics i.e. Sherpa villages and Tamang villages.
The complete Helambu trek route passes from villages and green as well as lush forest areas. Especially, if you opt to make a tour in the month of March or April, you will find rhododendron forests, excellent landscapes and Jugal Himal Range in your trek route. Besides scenic mountain views, you will come to know about a famous Sangepa Ripoche, who has retreated the place in the past. Today, everyone call him guru Rinpoche cave. Moreover, you will know about Ama Agri, where Ama implies mother and Agri is the name of a yak watcher woman. She died on a mountain peak of Helambu range and on her loving memory, her three sons made a Stupa on the same place they found her corpse.
