Nepal

Arrival in Kathmandu airport, our representative will meet you, welcome with flower garland. Pick up & Transfer to Hotel. Check in hotel. After a short rest in evening, you can visit in market. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

    After breakfast at hotel, starts Kathmandu sightseeing including; Kathmandu Durbar Square, the place of the Malla and then the Shah Kings of Nepal, visiting Kumari Temple, house of the virgin goddess, visiting Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), a stupa on the top of hill - from here you can overlook the scenery of Kathmandu, Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most important Hindu temples in Nepal. We keep going for walk to see the huge stupa of Buddha, also known as Boudhanath, the largest stupa in Nepal. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

      Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and sightseeing namobuddha monastery, Bhaktapur Durbar squire and Changunarayan then Evening Transfer to Nagarkot. From nagarkot you can enjoy the sunset view. Overnight stay at hotel in nagarkot.

        Morning surise from hotel and after Breakfast drive or flight to Pokhara if go by drive it takes about 7 Hours, afternoon arrive pokhara, check in hotel and evening free. Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.

          After breakfast at hotel, visit the snowy peaks of the Annapurna massif, Bindabasini Temple, Davi’s fall, Gupteshwar Cave, Regional Museum, Seti River Gorge (the place to see white river). Tallest shiva temple and world peace pagoda then evening 1hour boating on Phewa Lake. Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.

            After breakfast drive or fly to Kathmandu if by drive (approx... 6-7 hrs. drive) on the way you will enjoy the Himalayas nature, in the evening enjoy farewell dinner with Nepal cuisine and dancing. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

              Morning you will fly for about an hour over the panoramic Himalayan Ranges to the capital of Tibet. "Lhasa”. Lhasa at an altitude of 3,650 Mt, is situated on the north bank of Kyichu River. Lhasa in Tibetan means "Place of the Gods", the residence of the Dalai Lama., on arrival you will be met by the local representative and transferred to your respective hotel. (60 km/1hr). Full rest in the afternoon-to-acclimatize. Overnight-at-hotel-in-Lhasa at Hotel 

                After breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing of Potala Palace, and & Norbulinka. PotalaPalace, this legendary palace built atop a single hill is synonymous with Tibet by the first foremost king Songtsen Gompa. Norbulingka meaning 'Treasure Park' covers an area of around 360000 sq. m. and is considered to be the biggest man-made garden in Tibet. After sightseeing you will be transferred-to-hotel-for-your-Overnight-at-hotel-in-Lhasa.  

                  After breakfast full day sightseeing of Sera Monastery, Jokhang Monastery, Barkhor  Market.  Sera Monastery, 5 Kms north of Lhasa, Sera setting is one of Lhasa's prettiest monasteries. Once a community of more than 5,000 monks resided here and was virtually extinguished by the Chinese. Jokhang Temple, situated in the heart of Old Lhasa, it houses Tibet's most precious religious relic, a golden Shakyamuni Buddha which was brought as a gift by the Chinese Princess Wen Cheng on the occasion of her wedding to the Tibetan King, Songtsen Gompo. Barkhor Market place, which is the religious and social focus of Lhasa. After Sightseeing you will be transferred to hotel-for-your-Overnight-at-hotel-in-Lhasa.  

                    Drive to Ganden Monastery, Ganden Monastery or Ganden Namgyeling is one of the "great three" Gelug university monasteries of Tibet, China. It is in Dagzê County, Lhasa. The other two are Sera Monastery and Drepung Monastery.  Afternoon free for shopping Overnight at Lhasa.  

                      After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Gonggar airport, fly to Kathmandu. Our representative from Welcome Nepal Treks will be waiting for you at the airport and transfer to the hotel in Kathmandu.
                      Note: Free time for shopping or Rest of the day free as it's good to have a relaxing time or Hang around your hotel in Thamel Kathmandu.

                       

                        Upon arrival in Paro, clear customs and immigration. Keep your copy of the visa clearance letter handy. P.P size pictures are no longer required and your visa has been paid.
                        Meet your Guide and driver outside the terminal building and transfer to Thimphu. Stroll around the city in the evening. Overnight at hotel in Thimphu.

                          Visit Trashichhoedzong, the beautiful medieval fortress/monastery which houses most of the Government’s office and King’s Throne room It is also the summer residence of Je Khenpo, the Chief Abbot. Then visit National Library which has vast collection of ancient Buddhist texts and manuscripts. After that drive to Arts & Crafts School, famous for traditional thangkha paintings. Here you will see, students at work producing intricate design on cloth. Later visit Textile and Folk Heritage Museums, a fascinating testimony of the Bhutanese material culture and living traditions. After lunch visit Handicrafts Emporium which displays wide assortment of beautifully hand-woven and crafted products. Then drive to Memorial Chorten, the stupa built in the memory of Bhutan’s Third King who is popularly regarded as Father of modern Bhutan. The paintings and statues inside this monument provide a deep insight into Buddhist philosophy. Late afternoon drive to Punakha across Dochula pass (3,080m). Overnight at the hotel in Punakha.

                            After breakfast visit Punakha Dzong, built strategically at the junction of Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers in 1637 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal to serve as the religious and administrative centre of the region, Punakha Dzong has played an important role in Bhutan’s history. Damaged by four catastrophic fires and an earthquake, the Dzong has now been fully restored. Then drive to Wangdiphodrang visiting Dzong and local market. The district of Wangdiphodrang is also famous for its bamboo products, slate and stone carvings. After lunch drive to Paro with a short stop at Dochula pass. En route visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of the Kingdom built in 1627, it now houses the School for Buddhist studies. Overnight at the hotel in Paro.

                              After breakfast take an excursion to Taktsang Monastery, the most famous of Bhutanese monasteries. It is said that Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this monastery hence it is called “Tiger’s Nest”. The excursion to monastery takes about 5 hours for round trip. Afternoon visit Ta Dzong, the National Museum of the Kingdom. Originally built as Watch Tower since 1967 it is acting as the National Museum of the country and holding fascinating collection of art, artifacts, thangkha paintings and Bhutan’s exquisite postage stamps. Then walk down the trail to visit Rinpung Dzong which has a long and fascinating history. Overnight at the hotel in Paro.

                                After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Paro airport, fly to Kathmandu. Our representative from Welcome Nepal Treks will be waiting for you at the airport and transfer to the hotel in Kathmandu.
