After taking a nutritious breakfast, we travel overland from Kathmandu to the Lumbini, one of the places with breathtaking views and scenic beauty. The birthplace of Lord Buddha, it is one of the most compelling places to visit in Nepal.       Had very good service from Hari of Welcome Nepal Treks. He went out of the way to greet and meet me at the China-Nepal border after earlier arrangement (before the big landslide) could not be fulfilled. He gave his personal touch in everything he does.

      The selection of hotels at both places (based on his recommendation) was excellent - clean, budget and convenient. The assigned guides were courteous and helpful.
