14 Days Nepal Tibet Tour Package, Cost for 2025 and 2026

The 14 Days Nepal Tibet tour takes you on a great adventure in Nepal and Tibet. On this two-week tour, you will experience heart-warming Nepalese and Bhutanese hospitality, explore ancient historical sites, and enjoy a jungle safari. From the bustle of Nepal to the tranquil highlands of Tibet, the journey will provide you with a perfect balance of cultural engagements and outdoor activities.

We will start the trip in Kathmandu, Nepal. Kathmandu is the capital city and home to numerous palaces and temples. Explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Monkey Temple, Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and Patan Durbar Square.

Visit museums, art galleries, and local markets. Your time in Kathmandu will be lively and packed with Nepalese history, art, architecture, and tradition explorations. Then, you will travel to Chitwan, where you will take part in a jeep safari and many other wilderness activities like canoeing, bird watching, village tours, etc.

You will be discovering the lush flora and fauna of Chitwan National Park. One-horn rhinos and Bengal tigers are the highlights of Chitwan. The tour continues to Pokhara, the city of lakes and gateway to the Annapurna region. Here, you will explore the wonders of nature.

The city is rich in lakes, waterfalls, and caves. The best thing about Pokhara is that the Himalayan mountains, such as Annapurna, Fishtail, and Dhaulagiri, are visible from many parts of the city. Imagine waking up every day with a majestic panorama of the Himalayas and a warm cup of tea.

Some highlights of Pokhara are sunrise and mountain views from Sarangkot, the International Mountain Museum, Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave, Phewa Lake, and Lakeside Market. Unlike Kathmandu, Pokhara boasts a soothing ambiance. You will have plenty of time to unwind.

Return to Kathmandu and prepare to fly to Lhasa on the eighth day of the tour. It will be around 1.5 hours of fantastic flight. You will fly over the Himalayan range, enjoying heavenly views of the many mountains. Land in Lhasa, where our Tibetan team will welcome you.

You will drive to Tsedang on the same day to spend the night. It is the third-largest city in Tibet, located 170 southeast of Lhasa. Because of the comparatively low altitude exposure, you'll spend your first night in Tsedang instead of Lhasa.

Lhasa is situated at 3,656 meters, and Tsedang at 3,100 meters. You will descend around 500 meters, which will help you in acclimatization and avoid altitude sickness. Additionally, Tsedang is a beautiful city and is less crowded than Lhasa.

You will have a peaceful time here. Witness stunning Tibetan landscapes and explore monuments like Yumbulagang Palace, Trandruk Monastery, and Samye Monastery. The next day, return to Lhasa and spend the next three nights exploring several tourist sites and museums in this beautiful Tibetan city.

The main highlights in Lhasa are Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Bazaar, Sera Monastery, and Drepung Monastery. On the 13th day of the tour, you will fly back to Kathmandu and leave for your country the following day.

Best Season for 14 Days Nepal Tibet Tour

Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the ideal seasons for a 14-day Nepal-Tibet tour due to the perfect weather and spectacular views they offer in both regions. In Nepal, spring brings mild temperatures and vibrant landscapes as the rhododendrons and other flowers bloom, while autumn ensures clear skies and breathtaking mountain views, making it perfect for trekking and exploring cultural landmarks like Kathmandu's UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Similarly, Tibet enjoys pleasant weather during these seasons, with manageable temperatures even in high-altitude areas. Spring in Tibet provides clear skies, allowing mesmerizing views of the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and the towering peaks of the Himalayas, including Mount Everest from the northern side. Meanwhile, autumn in Tibet is known for its post-monsoon clarity, offering stunning scenery and a peaceful ambiance, ideal for spiritual experiences and connecting with the serene beauty of the region. These seasons also coincide with festivals in both Nepal and Tibet, such as Nepal's Dashain, Tihar, and Buddha Jayanti, and Tibet's Shoton (Yogurt Festival) and other local festivities, enriching your journey with cultural depth. Together, spring and autumn provide a harmonious balance of natural beauty, cultural discovery, and comfortable travel in both regions.

The insurance must include emergency medical evacuation, trip cancellations, delays, and lost or damaged belongings. Additionally, coverage for unforeseen events like natural disasters or political disturbances is highly recommended, given the remote and mountainous nature of the regions. Having comprehensive travel insurance provides peace of mind and financial protection, allowing you to focus on enjoying the breathtaking landscapes and cultural experiences of Nepal and Tibet.

Tipping is a meaningful and appreciated way to show gratitude for the dedication and efforts of those who enhance your experience during the 14-day Nepal-Tibet tour. Although not mandatory, it is a thoughtful gesture to acknowledge the services provided by guides, drivers, porters, and hotel staff. Guides, drivers, and porters, in particular, play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless, enriching, and enjoyable journey, making tipping them a widely embraced practice. Typically offered at the conclusion of the service or tour, tipping is entirely at the traveler’s discretion, reflecting the quality of service and personal satisfaction. Beyond monetary gestures, a simple expression of verbal appreciation and respect for those who support you can create lasting connections and add a personal touch to your journey.
