Mardi Himal Trek Package - 13 Days Itinerary and Best Price

Mardi Himal Trek will take you to an unexplored area of the famous Himalayan region. The trek gives us a close and westerly vantage of the mountain holding winning peak named Machhapuchhare, which in English referred as Fish tail. Machhapuchhare is the southernmost and highest point of the Annapurna Mountain Massif, which has awesomely majestic mountains groups in the central Himalayan region.

The massif has 5 among the total 12 highest mountains worldwide, all of which are at close with very close quarters to the route. The entire trek requires hiking for 8 days above tree line and through forests to reach at our camp at the high altitude of 4,100meters. Later on, by descending the forest, we will get an entirely different route taking us steeply down towards the upper part of Mardi Khola, which is a torrent formed by snow and ice of the entire Mardi Himal area.

Despite of remote areas, our trekking expedition will take us to various warm valleys and a large number of friendly villages. Other than this, we make our trekking route across the Mardi Khola Bank from the hillside villages and move down through various lovely fields and simple farms. Overall, you will get the opportunity to experience a pleasant trekking across the idyllic countryside in Nepal.

Best Time for Mardi Himal Trek

The Mardi Himal Trek is organized throughout the year. The best and most recommended seasons for the Mardi Himal Trek are autumn and spring. While the winter and monsoon are the least preferred seasons as the treks get challenging during these seasons.

Spring (March-May) is a perfect season with moderate temperature and stable weather. Along the way, the trekkers will get to enjoy the clear views of the majestic mountains, landscapes and beautiful forests. This season welcomes the blooming of beautiful and colorful flowers. The valleys and the forest look beautiful covered with colorful flowers. Another popular season for the Mardi Himal Trek is autumn season (Sept-Nov). During this season of the year, the sky and paths are clear with no rain and snow which is perfect for trekking. The views of mountains are awesome in autumn season. It is a peak trekking season so the trekking trails are crowded and most of the teahouses/ lodges are busy in autumn.

The winter season (Dec-Feb) is less popular for the treks as it is the coldest time of the year. You will experience heavy snowfalls in winter which may block the paths with snow which will make the trek a bit difficult. However the views of snowy mountains are absolutely amazing and the trails are less crowded in the winter season. The monsoon season (June-Aug) is also not much recommended for the Mardi Himal Trek. It is the season when the weather is unstable, temperature is hot and you might experience frequent rainfalls. The paths are wet and slippery which makes the trek challenging. But if you are well prepared with the right gears then you can do the trek in monsoon also.
