Lower Dolpo Trek, Fixed Departure Date for 2024/2025/2026
Lower Dolpo trek belongs to the isolated corner of the famous Trans Himalayan region. It is a divine and a virgin land of the Middle Western Nepal and has Shey Phoksundo National Park at its core region. The park is famous as a home to snow leopards. Lower Dolpo thus has its uniqueness and charm with many of its remote areas and known popularly as the hidden treasure in the country. The trek even allows you to cross three main high mountain passes named Kangmara La pass, Numa La pass and Baga La pass.
In addition, the trek allows us to view the amazing beauties of the Phoksundo Lake i.e. the deepest lake of Nepal and Shey Phoksundo National Park covered with many attractive fauna and flora. We will conduct the trek in the northwestern region in Nepal with lower parts of the actual Dolpo district. Being a remote area of the country, its isolated topography allows trekkers to meet with authentic people and know about their lifestyle in an authentic way from almost unexplored and untouched.
Besides the Phoksundo Lake, you will even make a visit to the Tarap Valley. The Tibetan plateau, Buddhist monasteries of ancient times and gripping lifestyles followed by many local area people and their respective culture/tradition are a few prime attractions of the entire Lower Dolpo trek.

- While booking, we need the photocopy of your passport and you have to pay us a minimum of 10% payment of the total cost as advance.
- Beverages, snacks, charging electronic devices, hot showers, Wi-Fi are not included in our packages, so you have to pay additional cash.
- It is preferable to pack your bag lightly because porters will only carry your 15-20kg luggage
- You should have comprehensive travel insurance that covers trekking activities including medical expenses and emergency evacuation.
- Carry a reusable water bottle and use water purification tablets like iodine, aquatabs tablets.
- Pack your clothes according to the seasonal basis.
- Lower Dolpo Trek is a high level of difficulty and is considered one of the more challenging treks which requires a high level of physical fitness so, it is recommended to prepare with cardiovascular exercises, strength training, and hiking.
- You should carry enough cash in Nepalese rupees as ATMs may not be available in remote areas.
